From June 14 to 18 a delegation from Rwanda, consisting of 15 people including the Rector and majority of the Deans at NUR, visited LiU. Together with the partners from Sweden and representatives from SIDA a meeting took place at Valla Folkhögskola. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the current four year period which ends this year and also discuss the next application which will be completed this fall. The application is now prepared with a wider cooperation in mind and representatives from Rwanda in some new subjects, e.g., business and management, agriculture, law and statistics, attended. Also some new Swedish partners, e.g., pro rector Lena Andersson-Eklund from SLU
Uppsala and representatives from the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI), LiU, were invited to the meeting.

The participants also visited the Visualization Center in Norrköping and Mjärdevi Science Park in Linköping. In Mjärdevi they had a presentation of Incubator and also the telecom company Ericsson. The meeting was a success with many new ideas and connections. Also, all the study visits were highly appreciated.
